Job Description:

   Kodo is seeking an Account Manager to help us grow our brand presence and market share in the early childhood education market.   This role will be the primary contact for an assigned group of existing customer accounts with responsibility for retention and growth. Along with ensuring customers derive maximum value from our products and services, on a daily basis you will work closely with customers to identify needs including best practices for solutions to drive sales.  

As the Account Manager you will:

  • prepare and deliver effective customer presentations via phone, online, and in-person.
  • deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly status and results reports.  
  • identify new opportunities from within existing accounts to increase sales.

Salary:  $46k + bonus

Role Responsibilities:

  • Generate, drive, and support sales campaigns
  • Create strategic and tactical plans to generate sales opportunities
  • Drive client retention, upsells, and overall satisfaction
  • Connect with customers daily via phone, email, and online webinars
  • Develop and maintain pipeline within Salesforce
  • Develop strong relationships with key contacts to expand market share
  • Meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, yearly sales goals
  • Prepare reports as needed
  • Attend trade shows / conferences
  • Provide input on new processes and workflows as needed
  • Develop various software presentations for multiple purposes
  • Oversee distribution of sample products to sales reps and raffle items to customers
  • Provide sales support to Director of Sales and outside sales representatives

Ideal Qualifications and Candidate Traits:

  • 2-4 years experience in customer related sales and/or account management
  • Experience in education, early childhood education preferred
  • Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of business
  • Natural relationship builder
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and remain motivated
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Accomplished verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of various software programs, including Salesforce and G-Suite
  • Experience in delivering customer-focused solutions based on their needs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time while paying strict attention to detail and prioritize among competing tasks
