Kodo Founder Chris Hume to Speak at the Early Childhood Innovation Summit
Next week, the National Head Start Association will host the 2017 Early Childhood Innovation Summit. This summit is the second of its kind, and “will focus on bringing practitioners together to surface their brightest ideas and explore opportunities for accelerating performance across the entire early childhood landscape.” Designed to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking, the Summit will bring together program leaders from across the country for 3 days of keynotes, workshops, seminars, and panel discussions.
We’re proud to announce that Kodo Founder, Chris Hume, will be participating in a panel alongside esteemed peers Angi Primavera from Google Children Centers and Wassy Tesfa, the Head Start Pacific Clinics Director. The panel will discuss S.T.E.A.M and how this group of progressive leaders found new ways to overcome obstacles to better meet the needs of children and families.
Bright Spot Panel: S.T.E.A.M will take place on the second day of the conference, June 27th, at 2:10 in the afternoon.
If you missed Chris Hume’s last panel presentation at SXSWedu on Fostering the Maker Movement in Early Childhood Education this past March, we invite you to watch clips from the discussion here.
